What are the trial operation requirements for jaw crushers?

Trial operation requirements for jaw crushers are as follows:

1. Before the trial operation, lubricating oil should be added to all bearings and moving parts, and all connecting bolts should be securely fastened.

2. Conduct a single-machine trial run for the motor, and only after confirming that there are no issues should it be connected to drive the jaw crusher using the triangular belt.

3. Perform a no-load trial run for 3-4 hours. The maximum temperature for roller bearings should not exceed 65°C, with a normal working temperature range of 45-50°C. For sliding bearings, the maximum temperature should not exceed 60°C, with a normal working temperature range of 35-45°C. The vibration amplitude of the machine base should not exceed 0.2-0.5mm/m.

4. Perform a loaded run for 7-8 hours.

  a) When starting the feeding, gradually introduce ore that does not exceed 80% of the feed opening size. If large ore blocks get stuck in the feed opening, stop immediately and use a chisel to break them. Do not use a large hammer directly to avoid damaging the components.

  b) Pay attention to the temperature and operation of each bearing during the trial operation.

  c) If the loaded operation is normal, before putting it into production, tighten the connecting bolts again.

  d) Adjust the outlet width according to the particle size requirements. Adjustment method: first loosen the tensioning spring nut, then use a wrench to turn the adjusting nut to make the inclined wedge rise (reducing the outlet size) or fall (increasing the outlet size). Finally, tighten the tensioning spring nut and start the motor only after confirming correct manual adjustment.
