Equipment Needed for a Sand Factory

Establishing a sand quarry requires a significant investment in equipment. Typically, the construction of a production line involves coarse crushing equipment, medium crushing equipment, and fine crushing equipment, as well as screening and washing equipment. So, what is the workflow of a production line?

For materials such as granite and high-hardness marble with a size of over 50 centimeters, the configuration plan is as follows:

Primary crushing: The original large stone blocks can be crushed into stones of different specifications.

Secondary crushing: Select a cone crusher for medium and fine crushing, reducing the material size to around 3 centimeters. The accompanying equipment includes a feeder, conveyor belts, and a vibrating screen as auxiliary devices. If the raw materials are already small in size, a single cone crusher with auxiliary equipment is sufficient.

For materials with low hardness, such as weathered materials, with a size of around 30 centimeters, the configuration plan is as follows:

Feeder + conveyor belts + jaw crusher + conveyor belts + impact crusher + conveyor belts + vibrating screen. The raw materials enter the jaw crusher through the feeder for coarse crushing. The finished products are then transported by conveyor belts to the impact crusher for medium and fine crushing. If shaping is not required, the vertical shaft impact crusher can be omitted. Afterward, the materials go through the vibrating screen to be classified into different sizes, such as sizes 12, 13, 24, and so on.

Additionally, a conveyor belt is needed to transport the screened stones to storage or for further distribution. Some auxiliary equipment, such as a pulverizer for processing smaller materials, and dust removal equipment to ensure a clean environment and safe operation, are also required. In summary, although the variety of equipment is not extensive, the selection of each piece of equipment should be based on the actual production situation, considering factors such as quality, service life, and production capacity. Choosing suitable equipment can improve production efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and provide better development prospects for the business.
