Steel slag is a waste residue generated in the metallurgical industry. The directions for processing and comprehensive utilization of steel slag include metallurgical reuse and smelting flux, use in road construction as crushed stone and fill material for foundations, application in the building materials industry as cementitious materials, concrete admixtures, and steel slag sand, utilization in environmental protection as an adsorbent material, and agricultural use as fertilizer and soil amendment due to its rich mineral elements. Among these, the most common application is the production of steel slag powder for use as cementitious materials and concrete admixtures.
Fushun Special Steel's 140,000-ton steel slag processing line is an EPC project undertaken and led in design by Dahua Heavy Industry. The production line is currently in operation.

The main equipment used in this production line includes PEY hydraulic jaw crusher, GMBZ rod mill, YK vibrating screen, GZG vibrating feeder, DZ vibrating feeder, CTG magnetic separator, 5 B650 belt conveyors, and 1 B800 belt conveyor.

Rational process and high productivity
The production line utilizes the PEY hydraulic jaw crusher, which can automatically discharge unbreakable materials, effectively solving the problem of "steel jamming" during steel slag crushing. It comes with a hydraulic station and PLC automatic control system, making it an ideal equipment for steel slag crushing. The GMBZ rod mill is also a specialized mill for steel slag, providing uniform and high-volume discharge, low pollution, and good purification effect.

The production line is constructed in a closed workshop and equipped with a reliable environmental dust removal system, ensuring a good working environment on the production site. It also responds to the national call for environmental protection and achieves environmentally friendly production.
